Rascal was an awesome little agility, lure and barn hunt boy! He was sometimes nervous in new places and with new dogs, but really really loves his momma but were are a great team. He was very sweet and LOVED humans. He was perfectly happy to give you kisses all day. He was my “wide receiver”.
Rascal never ceased to amaze me with his effortless movement and ability to run and jump. He also enjoyed barn hunt and coursing ability tests where he earned his coursing excellent title. He has also tried herding goats when I went out to my friend’s farm. He was a very special little man.
I lost Rascal somewhat suddenly. He developed a thyroid issue in 2018 but was doing well until one day when he just wasn’t anymore. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye so close to his 11th birthday, but he was ready to move on to The Bridge and run and chase things with Micah. He was my puppy from the day he was born and I held him as he took his first breaths and I held him as he took his last. He was the first Rio puppy born and the first to leave. I miss you Wascally.
